A full day forum on strategies on how to be strong and pro-active while living in an environment where human rights, especially those of trans and other 2SLGBTQIA+ people are being challenged. 

Forum Leaders:

Fae Johnstone MSW, Executive Director of Wisdom2Action, nationwide community organizer and advocate for Trans & Queer Rights

Wilbur Turner, President of Advocacy Canada, advocate and human rights blogger

Dr. j wallace skelton, Assistant Professor, Queer Studies in Education, University of Regina

Omayra Issa, Co-Anchor, CPAC, Journalist and Broadcaster, Producer of “Black on the Prairies”

Conversations will focus on hopeful ways forward, best practices for mental health care, and building a caring community.
